Daily Report 07

Hii guys..
Welcome back in Dewi's kitchen.This time we are making shortcrust pastry. My group made sugar dough and pie dough.
This is the sugar crust and pie crust I made

But unfortunately my crust is too thin so I got punishment I had to run around the field three times and it was around 01.00 Pm, Omg.. and it was so damn hot!!
And these is the recipes of the shortcrust pastry I made today..

Sugar Dough

Sugar                               180 g
Butter                              240 g
Egg                                      1 pcs
Soft Flour                        400 g
Maizena                             32 g
Salt                                      3 g

How to make :
  1. Mix together sugar and butter. Put in the egg one by one and mix until the mixture merges.
  2. Add the dry ingredients and mix until well blended.
  3. Rest dough in chiller about two hours, for best result rest it one night.
  4. Roll the dough to a thickness 3mm and bake it at 170oC about 30 minutes.




Pie Dough

Butter                               450 g
Egg Yolk                          188 g
Salt                                     12 g
Sugar                                    6 g
Cake Flour                       750 g
Water                               150 ml

How to make :

  1. Mix together butter and  put in the egg yolk one by one, mix until the mixture merges.
  2. Add the dry ingredients and mix until well blended.
  3. Rest dough in chiller about two hours, for the best result rest it one night.
  4. Roll the dough to a thickness of 3mm and bake it at 170oC about 30 minutes.
